Many groups have a name and motto that represent them.
- Examples include the New York Yankees, NBCNews, Nike; our own school name and motto.
Assign students to groups and distribute one Names and Mottos Handout to each group.
Have groups discuss and choose one name and one motto for the class. They can come up with their own ideas if desired.
Have student groups write their final motto on a butcher paper/ piece of paper, and pick a representative to present in the next SEL lesson.
