1.1 Who We Are: Part 1

Items Needed:

• Login to the Harmony website and print Who We Are Worksheets (one per student): https://online.harmonysel.org/grade-4-who-we-are-worksheet/ Links to an external site. 
• Writing utensils for students

Set the Stage:

Ask students if they want a classroom that knows how to work and have fun together.

Tell students they are going to share important items with the class.

• Sharing items that are important to us, allows us to understand and get to know one another and create a positive classroom.

Activity:

Have students complete the Who We Are Worksheet.

• For each item you want to share, write down why it’s important to you and what that item shows about you.

Students do not need to share answers in this class to the worksheet. They will be able to do so next week.

Let students know they will need to bring these items in the following lesson (next week), if they cannot bring the item in, maybe a picture or something to show it off.

• Collect Who We Are Worksheets and distribute to students for the next lesson.
