8.0 How to Get Tech Support

1. Contact the teacher with questions about the navigation of course or how to complete assignments

2. (STUDENTS ONLY) If you are able to log into the BISD Portal,  click the "BISD Technology HelpDesk" button in the BISD Portal  Help Desk button that is in the BISD Portal.PNG

3. (STUDENTS AND PARENTS) If you are unable to login to your Chromebook or the BISD Portal, please submit a Help Desk ticket (see the instructions below)

How To Submit A Help Desk Ticket (External User)


NOTE: Please provide as much detail as possible about any technical issues you may be experiencing. Provide screenshots if possible.


STEP 1

Navigate to our BISD Help Desk Portal at helpdesk.birdvilleschools.net Links to an external site.


STEP 2

Select the New Ticket icon. 


STEP 3 

Fill in the required fields

Help Desk Ticket form fields

1. Search a Requester: Enter your email address.

2. Category: Use the dropdown arrow to select the appropriate category and sub-category that's best related to the issue.

3. Subject:  Please provide a brief description of the issue.

4. Description: Please provide a detailed description of the issue.

5. Issue Location: Use the dropdown arrow to select the home campus of the student who is having the issue

6. Room Number: Type in "N/A"

7. Phone Number: Type in a 10-digit contact number (numbers only, no dashes or periods)

8. Check "I'm not a robot" and click Submit

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Click the Home button to return to the Main Menu ----->>>>> Home button.png
